If Sir Keir Starmer’s idea of success is guaranteeing the first Reform UK government then he’s a very capable man indeed.

This wasn’t a Brexit reset – it was an all-out surrender by a man who isn’t just a traitor to democracy, he’s a snivelling liar to boot. Time and again Keir Starmer promised faithfully he would honour the result of the referendum and 11 months into his catastrophic reign he’s sold out the British people and spat on their democratic decision to leave the EU.
And by prostrating himself at the feet of Ursula Von Der Leyen – who couldn’t quite believe her luck negotiating with such a chump – and allowing her to walk all over his spineless body he has at the stroke of a pen turned the UK a rule-taker not a rule-maker. And we’re going to have to pay hundreds of millions of pounds for the privilege.
Thanks to this monstrous betrayal Brexit is now dead in the water. And that’s exactly what Starmer wanted. Because make no mistake this, grovelling appeasement deal is only the start of his shenanigans to get us 100% back into the arms of the EU. And this has been his plan all along even though he swore blind it wasn’t..
A furious Boris called him the “orange ball-chewing manacled gimp of Brussels” which doesn’t seem quite insulting enough. He said this cowardly surrender would make the UK the “non-voting punk of Brussels.” And he’s dead right. Because now Britain has to accept Brussels’ edicts as well as the European Court of Justice without having a say.
How the hell is THAT a good deal? How can this liar, this weasel of a man look himself in the mirror every day? How did this capitulator with no character ever get to lead Britain? A country whose people he clearly despises particularly those who voted Brexit because he thinks we’re all thick-as-mince racists who don’t know what’s best for us. Starmer may as well have spat on the British flag and bowed before the EU’s.
Whatever the opposite of a patriot is – Starmer is the living, breathing embodiment of it. He stood up at the joke of a press conference this week and tried to tell us this was a great deal for Britain.EH? This is a humiliation deal. Those of us who thought we’d never have to watch Britain being degraded and humiliated again by Brussels saw it writ large again this week thanks to the
double-crossing Starmer.
Yes this deal might allow Brits to walk through e gates at airports to get to their second homes in Tuscany and Provence a bit quicker (but only if the EU agrees and it hasn’t yet) and it lets pets travel with more ease – but is that really worth shafting the fishing industry for?
And quite apart from the fact we don’t know exactly what this deal is because Starmer’s omitted to share the precise details of it, i.e. what the cap is on young Europeans coming here will be (don’t forget this is the man who last week swore he’d curb immigration yet is now allowing maybe millions of young Europeans to come here – possibly for good).
We still don’t know how many millions we’ll have to pay for the EU’s so-called concessions. And there are no guarantees on the trade and cheaper goods Starmer keeps talking about – NONE! Most importantly, all of the gains he’s ranting about have yet to be nailed down. So this is a hopelessly one-sided deal – the EU gets all the gains we get no guarantees – on anything! Does this remind you of life before 2016?
However what we do know is that now the rules on food and energy will be set by the EU. And that this fantastic deal (read: fantastic for the EU) Starmer says will make £9billion for the UK by 2040. Is he freaking serious????? He could make that piddling amount if he took control of the toilet paper supplies in NHS hospitals for the next 15 years. THAT would easily save nine billion
quid!
So, let’s look at Starmer’s record so far – he’s sold out the farmers, the disabled, the Chagos Islands, and now the fishermen. And Gibraltar should look out – because chances are it’s next for a sell-out. This idiot has given Ursula and her cronies 12 years to plunder our seas – 12 years in which they can take every bit of fish they like from OUR waters, a move which will destroy our fishing industry.
And Why 12 years? Most of us thought the worst-case scenario would be four but he’s handed them three times that. Why? When Norway – which isn’t in the EU but is in the single market – gets to renegotiate its deal every year? Which is what was
trailed for us in the post-Brexit settlement.
But NO, Starmer got out all the white flags for Ursula’s visit and waved them in her delighted face. But just why the hell have we gone crawling back to this floundering block? Its economies are stagnant, its immigration problems are bigger than ours, and only two of the world’s 25 biggest companies have European headquarters (at the start of 2000 it was 25.)
Yet we have subjugated ourselves to join forces with a bunch of countries who are in a worse state than we are. This country fought a long and bitter battle to make Brexit happen. And now our wimp of a leader hasn’t just surrendered it; he has re-opened all the old wounds which were just starting to heal. And what he’s actually done now is scupper any chance of a decent trade deal with Donald Trump because you can’t have a free trade deal with dynamic alignment to the EU.
He did have one big achievement yesterday though – he has made a Reform victory a dead cert at the next election. Farage has already said: “Make me PM and I’ll scrap Starmer’s Brexit.” He has vowed to get rid of the European Court of Justice and anything to do with alignment. And we know he will.
Starmer can stand on as many podiums as he likes hailing his capitulation as a “victory” But no-one’s buying it. And what this poor fool still hasn’t realised from the Brexit vote is that British people will not be lied to, ignored or patronised by politicians who treat them like irrelevant fools. So Starmer and his party of schmucks WILL be kicked out at the next election. His surrender deal just guaranteed it.
